Swine flu vaccine is included in Influenza shots recommended to be given yearly, as immunity against Influenza declines in one year. Children below 5 years of age, pregnant women, senior citizens, persons with certain medical conditions (lung or heart disorders; metabolic disorders e.g. Diabetes, kidney ailments, etc.; and immunosuppression) should be essentially given these shots, as they are more prone to succumb to Swine flu.
